This Collection brings together various styles and genres of traditional song and dance from Poland. Some of these recordings are classics, made in the U.S. in the late 1920's and early 1930's and featuring music by Polish immigrants. In that sense, this music parallels seminal recordings of U.S. folk and traditional artists made during that same period - and in many cases, the music is similarly raw, wild, and charismatic.
