The trio of Austrian pianist Christian Wegscheider juxtaposes Jazz and other genres such as traditional European music to create a very original style. Together with his fellow musicians, Wegscheider creates a music of formidable lightness, distinctly characterized by the use of dynamic variation and the fine art of Leaving Space. The trio successfully introduces numerous new sounds within the context of Jazz without ever sounding superficial. This time the trio was extended by another musical trio (Plus). A string section was filled with Beate Keilhack (violin), Margit Rubatscher (viola) and Nikolaus Messner (cello).
